Understanding our emotions (for age 6-9yr olds) -. This is a great course to start. Each week we explore a different emotion and take time to understand how it feels, when we feel like this, and how we can build healthy coping strategies if we feel overwhelmed.
Anxiety & Me (for age 9-13yr olds) each week will explore our anxiety, the impact it has on our life's and the choices we make, and explore how this impacts our self esteem. We will learn new ways at looking at our worries and healthy strategies to overcome our anxiety.
Anger & Me (for age 9-13) each week we will explore what anger feels like, looks like. The advantages and disadvantages to expressing anger. How anger is impacting our lives. Along with understanding our brain and exploring healthy coping strategies.
Positive Me (for ages 9 -13) each week we explore what makes us unique and learn to celebrate ourselves.
Connecting - (we have 2 groups age 6-9 and 10-14) This course has been designed to support children who are too afraid to get close. Some children struggle to trust adults after having bad experiences. This 10 week course has been designed to explore their emotions, who they are, what is important to them, how to start letting in the good, how to recognise healthy relationships.

All groups have a maximum of 6 children, unless otherwise stated.
The groups are for children only.
We do ask for all children to go onto a group, before we consider any 1:1support.

This 2.5hour workshop is designed to bring awareness to our menstrual cycle and mental health.
As woman it is time we start having conversations about our hormonal health and understand the impact our cycle has on our mental health.
This workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to understand more about why one week they are on top of the world and the next they want to hide under a bed.
Girls under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Come and join in. Please ensure that young girls who are coming have already learnt about periods. This workshop is a focus on the impacts on mental health. This is a great workshop to do with your mum/daughter and no-one is too old. If you are not having a period for any reason this does not exclude you from the workshop. You can still explore your natural energy and how this impacts you.
What can you expect in our sessions?
We take time to explore and normalise what they child is experiencing. Helping them understand that they aren't alone in their struggles can be a powerful place to start.
It’s time to put an end to confusion and uncertainty and start helping children develop the confidence, resilience and self-esteem needed to thrive.
Each class and 1:1 is unique, drawing on my knowledge and various training to support the child or young person I am working with.
I combine all of these elements to put in my sessions that help children and young people understand their emotions and learn to self regulate.

Building a child’s confidence, self-esteem and resilience is important, but we’re often unsure how these characteristics are developed and what we can do to help achieve them.
Relationships are the key! They are the foundation to positive well-being. Which is why we offer a non judgemental and compassionate service aimed at bringing families closer together. Whether through supporting the parents/carer givers or the whole family.
Our approach has really become centred around empowering the care givers/parents to make the changes to support children and young people.
We ask that children access the groups first, where they can as this provides a good foundation for the work we are doing. If they need further support after the groups then 1:1's can be available for typically between 6-10 sessions. These are typically 30-40 mins long and can be tailored to your child's individual needs around problems and emotional challenges they may be experiencing.
We recognise that some children may struggle in a group, even with only up to 6 peer's in them, so we may suggest after the first 2 weeks about moving to 1:1 support.
This is for parents and carers who are looking at ways to understand and supporting emotional intelligence and regulation in children and young people. It explains the brain, brain development and many of the key stages of development that help support their emotions. The training is done through a 3 hour workshop.This workshop is aimed at parents/carers who might be experiencing: Is your child struggling with their emotions? Are they having 'meltdowns' or 'temper tantrums'? Is your child aggressive? Does your child hit, kick, spit or hurt you or other people? Is your child really withdrawn? Do they try to avoid going out? school? socialising? trying new groups/activities? Do they complain about a bad belly or head? Would you like to be able to support them to be calm and confident? To be able to express themselves safely. It can be a very stressful and exhausting experience supporting children who are struggling with their emotions. There is no 'magic cure' but some knowledge can be very powerful. In this workshop you will learn: The basic neuroscience and the key to what underpins mental health. The importance of your role. How to deepen your connection and relationship. How to set boundaries. Strategies and skills to use at home, to help support their emotions and create a happy, calm and confident child.In this workshop we look at:What we bring to a situation? What is going on? What is behind the behaviour? How to support and connect with your child/ren and bring calmness into any situation
The foundations to a family is relationship. Whilst our 3 hour workshop might be just what you need to help get some new strategies, you may feel that what you and your children need is to improve the relationship. To be able to communicate openly and honestly. To set solid foundations, not just to support the challenges you are facing now but to improve the future. This is a 10 session course that is based on PACE and Relationship Based Play principles. How to speak a child's language of play. Bring you closer together. What do we cover?
