What can you expect in our sessions?
We take time to explore and normalise what they child is experiencing. Helping them understand that they aren't alone in their struggles can be a powerful place to start.
It’s time to put an end to confusion and uncertainty and start helping children develop the confidence, resilience and self-esteem needed to thrive.
Each class and 1:1 is unique, drawing on my knowledge and various training to support the child or young person I am working with.
I combine all of these elements to put in my sessions that help children and young people understand their emotions and learn to self regulate.

Building a child’s confidence, self-esteem and resilience is important, but we’re often unsure how these characteristics are developed and what we can do to help achieve them.
Relationships are the key! They are the foundation to positive well-being. Which is why we offer a non judgemental and compassionate service aimed at bringing families closer together. Whether through supporting the parents/carer givers or the whole family.
Our approach has really become centred around empowering the care givers/parents to make the changes to support children and young people.
We ask that children access the groups first, where they can as this provides a good foundation for the work we are doing. If they need further support after the groups then 1:1's can be available for typically between 6-10 sessions. These are typically 30-40 mins long and can be tailored to your child's individual needs around problems and emotional challenges they may be experiencing.
We recognise that some children will initially struggle in a group, even with only up to 6 peer's in them, so we can do 1:1's initially if needed.
We are so excited to share with you our courses for children and Young People.
Understanding our emotions (for age 6-9yr olds) - each week we will explore a different emotions, and using creative ways to learn some healthy coping strategies. This is a great course to start. Each week we explore a different emotion and take time to understand how it feels, when we feel like this, and how we can build healthy coping strategies if we feel overwhelmed.
Anxiety and Self Esteem (for age 9-13yr olds) each week will explore our anxiety, the impact it has on our life's and the choices we make, and explore how this impacts our self esteem. We will learn new ways at looking at our worries and healthy strategies to overcome our anxiety.

We will be running regular courses and workshops. If there isn't a course that you need drop us a message and we can see how we can support your child through either a 1:1 or if we have enough interest putting on specific sessions around this.
